Race setup resultsโ€”Calculated from the values entered above.
Max laps per full tankโ€”
Fuel stopsโ€”
Pit after lap(s)โ€”
Estimated pit + refuel timeโ€”

Formula

Total fuel = fuel/lap ร— (race laps + reserve laps)

Maximum full stint = floor(usable tank รท fuel/lap)

How to use it

Use the same fuel unit for burn, tank capacity, and refueling rate. Reserve laps add a safety margin beyond the scheduled race distance. The calculator builds a simple stint plan and estimates stationary/refueling time.

Understanding the result

The longest stint is limited by usable tank capacity. The suggested pit laps are planning windows; cautions, safety cars, traffic, weather, minimum stop times, and series rules can change the optimal strategy.

Important: Racing setup is vehicle-, tire-, track-, and rules-dependent. Treat calculated values as planning targets, not guaranteed safe settings.
